cohealth is a not-for-profit organisation that provides vital local health and support services including medical, dental, allied health, mental health, and counselling, and many specialist health services across Melbourne’s CBD, northern and western suburbs.
The people who use cohealth services often face significant health disadvantages, have ongoing and complex needs, and are frequently at risk of falling through gaps in health services and funding systems. cohealth responds to people’s needs by delivering a wide range of low cost, high-quality, accessible health care and support services.
Green Cross buses are used to improve access to health and support services, particularly in areas of significant disadvantage i.e. caravan parks, social housing and areas with poor public transport, across cohealth service locations as highlighted on the map below.

In addition to the areas covered by cohealth, as from January 2020, a new Green Cross Outreach Bus is being used by Monash Health. Services provided by Monash Health focus on those individuals that have health disadvantages or are at risk of falling through gaps in health services Monash Health provide a wide range of low cost, high-quality health care services, which covers much of the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, see map below for Monash Health region.
